Annual Meetings

Each year the Sociological Practice and Public Sociology section endeavors to share our practices and insights with other sociologists through section sessions,
co-sponsored sessions, special sessions and a variety of workshops.
If you've ever wanted to organize a session or workshop, contact the
Section Chair for more information. Basically, one must submit ideas to the program committee 1.5 to 2 years in advance of the next meeting.

    The Association for Applied and Clinical Sociology is having its annual meeting in St. Louis, Missouri, October 14-17, 2010.
    Call for papers and presentations: Papers, workshops, demonstrations, exchanges about sociological practice, clinical sociological work, open discussions and the like. Be creative in your ideas and we are open-minded in our understanding of what a conference should be. More important, come and learn and share.
