Each year the Sociological Practice and Public Sociology section endeavors to share our
practices and insights with other sociologists through section sessions,
co-sponsored sessions, special sessions and a variety of workshops.

Upcoming ASA Annual Meetings

    2010 in Atlanta, GA

  • August 14-17, 2010, Atlanta, Georgia, Hilton Atlanta, Atlanta Marriott Marquis
      Develop and submit a proposal for a session in 2010 (San Francisco). Create a workshop. First deadline is late November, 2008, but technically they are somewhat open until February 1, 2009 for workshops, regular sessions, and author-meets-critics. 2009 Meeting Page to see the ASA guidelines for submitting proposals. This is a great chance to say what you've always wanted to say and organize a way to meet people in your field.
